A man has been charged over the abduction of a child fifteen years ago.
The six-year-old girl was taken from Barton-under-Needwood, a village in between Lichfield and Burton-upon-Trent in Staffordshire, in 2001.
Staffordshire Police say Arnold Baxter, 72, of Bath Street, Rugby, Warwickshire has been charged with kidnap and indecent assault.
A force spokesman said Mr Baxter was due before magistrates in Cannock on Saturday.
