Businesses' fear over shared maternity leave plans
The Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg has been accused of ignoring the needs of businesses after he outlined plans to allow couples to share maternity leave.
Changes due in April mean that if a mother returns to work without taking a full year's maternity leave the father will be able to take the remaining time, up to a maximum of six months.
Nick Evans and Gabrielle Hadley run a small business in Staffordshire and told BBC Radio 5 live's Gabby Logan that if one of their employees took a long period of paternity leave, the impact on their business would be devastating.
