Twenty-three-year-old Kevin Connolly was born without legs.
While at college, he decided to go around the world with his camera - and as people stared down at him, he took pictures of them. He published those images in a book, Double Take: A Memoir.
He talked to Outlook's Matthew Bannister about being "different" growing up, and why the act of staring is a bit like sex.
