Guy and Howard say Moog For Love is more like their early EPs than their recent releases
Disclosure have told Newsbeat they've "gone back to the start" with their new EP Moog For Love.
The three track release, which features producer Eats Everything and soul legend Al Green, is the duo's first new music since their second album Caracal.
Guy and Howard Lawrence played one of the songs, BOSS, during their headline set at Wild Life festival.
Speaking before the show Guy said: "It's not an album but we wanted to have something out this summer.
"We're always making music, we obviously haven't had enough time to make a new album.
"This is a clubby EP, it's back to the start."

Howard explained they've been writing music "as and when" they can on the road and that BOSS which was Annie Mac's Hottest Record In The World was put together in a hotel room in LA.
"We've really been writing on the road."
"We're getting better at it [writing on the road] There's a skill to it," added Guy.
"We had a few days so we set up the speakers in the room and made a tune.
"But mixing and mastering we still do all that ourselves and have to do that at home, I don't know why."

Jimmy Napes (l), has worked closely with Disclosure and Sam Smith during their careers
Disclosure now have two number one albums under their belt with Caracal following their debut release Settle to the top of the chart in September last year.
Their writing partner Jimmy Napes was heavily involved in both albums but he's not had anything to do with the new EP.
"Jimmy's there for the lyrics and writing," said Guy.
Howard added: "This is the first thing we've done without Jimmy in a long time - it feels quite strange."

American singer Al Green is best known for his 1971 track Let's Stay Together
BOSS is joined by In The Moog For Love, which is a collaboration with Eats Everything, and Feel Like I Do which features Al Green.
The collaboration came about when Guy sampled one of his songs from off a batch of vinyl he bought.
When asking for approval to use the track it reached the man himself who liked it so much that he gave the original recording stems to Guy to work with.

Now in its second year, the Wild Life line-up is chosen by Disclosure and Rudimental.
Howard said: "We've pretty much planned a house party," and the acts are made up of "basically people on our iTunes".

Both years have seen Disclosure and Rudimental headlining but Guy said it won't necessarily always be like that.
"If we were out of cycle and weren't dropping an album we wouldn't do it, we'd get someone else to do it and maybe come and DJ.
"We want this festival to be self-sufficient in the end and be big enough to not have to headline to be the ones to sell tickets.
"But hopefully we're going to be releasing enough new music to headline it every time because we love to do it.
"Unless we had an album to promote I think it would be weird to just do one show a year."
