Each week we publish a gallery of readers' pictures on a set theme. This week the theme is "Turkey", and we begin with an image taken by Gopal Venkat of the Suleymaniye Mosque in Istanbul.

Julie Nicholson: "Paragliding off a mountain in Olu Deniz, the views were breathtaking."

Jackson Marshall: "I took this photo whilst watching camel wrestling in Selcuk surrounded by a wall of sound."

Ayush Bhandari: "An early morning bird's eye view of the Cappadocia in the Central Anatolia region of Turkey."

Mark Stankiewicz: "I found myself in a beer garden in Istanbul on a Friday night with some new friends that enjoy Flamenco music and dancing. She only speaks Turkish, he only speaks Spanish, but the language of the Flamenco beat translates."

Andy Green: "Whilst in Turkey I managed to catch this shot of a Turkish dancer after being invited to the wedding of a waiter who was working in our hotel."

Anna Mochnacka: "A stunning landscape in Pamukkale. This dream-like place consists of hot springs that formed sedimentary rock terraces and the bluest warm-water pools. Hard to describe if you are not a scientist, but most definitely one of the most extraordinary geological phenomena you can find on this planet."

Amy Dabrowa: "This year we went on a cruise holiday to Turkey, around the coast and islands of the Gulf of Gorkova. This is one of the crew from our boat watching the sunset whilst tending a BBQ on the deck."

Vaibhav Devdhar: "The amazing colours of the Red Valley landscape near Urgup."

Craig Pay: "This photo was taken whilst wandering the back streets of Sarigerme this summer."

Malcolm Chapman photographed spices on sale at one of the bazaars in Istanbul.

And finally a photo by Mila Mayer. Next week the theme is "Bonfire night", and the deadline for your entries is 6 November. If you would like to enter, send your pictures to yourpics@bbc.co.uk. Further details and terms can be found by following the link below this gallery.
