In pictures: Olympic LomoWall at Museum of London
Thousands of analogue photographs have been submitted from around the world to make up an Olympic-themed wall at the Museum of London.
A LomoWall is an idea initiated by The Lomographic Society - an organisation dedicated to experimental snapshot photography - and is simply a wall covered in analogue photographs.
Thousands of entries were edited down and the final images have formed a mosaic of pattern and colour which visitors are allowed to view close up.
Participants were given the following brief: "Inspiring and achieving in London's Olympic year".
For the display, more than 30 judo, archery, tennis and equestrian Team GB athletes training for the London 2012 Paralympic Games were photographed.
Chris Holmes MBE, one of Britain's most successful Paralympians, also took part, submitting photos of his guide dog, Lottie.
Holmes uses what he feels and hears to decide what to shoot. He is drawn to the Lomography, "don't think, just shoot" philosophy, say the LomoWall organisers.
"Photos have a universal power, they speak to us across space and time, evoking feelings made in those moments," explains Holmes.
Many of the chosen images do not just feature sport, but capture anything and everything from telephone boxes and portraits of people to statues and street signs.
Another display has been planned as a permanent exhibition and will be in situ in Manchester to coincide with the start of the 2012 Canal Festival.
The wall is free to view and will be open until 6 January 2013.
