
Lynsey de Paul, who has died at the age of 64, performed for the UK at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1977 with Rock Bottom.

De Paul and her co-performer Mike Moran represented the UK when the contest was held in London.

Among her hits were Sugar Me, No Honestly and Won't Somebody Dance With Me.

Lynsey de Paul was a regular on Top of The Pops, including this appearance in 1973.

She took part in the celebrations marking Top of the Pop's 500th edition.

De Paul's music career took off in 1972 and she remained in demand for celebrity game shows.

She was the first female to win an Ivor Novello songwriting award in 1973. She continued to support the Ivor Novello movement, attending the awards ceremony in 2013
