Activities: Bird watching. The Mayday Pond is a good place for watching a huge variety woodland birds. If there aren't many birds here, it could be because it's been raining. Then look out for puddles and a small number of ponds in the woods.
Way marked tracks such as the Woodlark trail. Hides. Deer viewing. Walking, cycling, horse riding. Visitor centre at High Lodge. Cycling: two six mile family trails, an intermediate red route or the black route (suitable for more experienced riders).
