BBC One's Queens of British Pop is a two part documentary series covering some of the most dynamic figures in British female pop history. We had to narrow it down to 12 in the documentary, however have trawled the archive to feature an expanding selection of Queens right here on the website.
Executive Producer Mark Cooper explains the inspiration for the series which starts on BBC One at 22:45pm on 1 April 2009.
