Formed in 1972, Boghall and Bathgate have been a top Grade 1 band for over 30 years. Currently under the musical direction of Pipe Major Ross Walker and Leading Drummer Gordon Brown the organisation prides itself on teaching youngsters in piping and drumming and have two Juvenile bands competing at the worlds. The band approaches the 'big one' on Glasgow Green with confidence after a successful start to the 2010 season with 2nd place results at the Scottish and British Championships and 3rd place at the Europeans at the end of July, with the drum corps winning the British title.
