Mumford & Sons’ Americana-tinged sound – combining elements of folk, country and bluegrass – may belie their London roots but it makes for an exciting headline act.
They like to use a variety of instruments, including banjo, double bass, mandolin and accordion and frequently swap these between each other on stage.
The group, who first hit the charts last year with the rousing Little Lion Man, play King Tut's Wah Wah Tent on Sunday.
A mostly winning debut that should see them go on to fine things indeed.
