Jo Brand takes up the organ

Sunday 25 March, 8pm, BBC ONE
Stand up comedian and broadcaster Jo Brand hasn't sat in front of a keyboard for 30 years. Now she sets herself the task of learning the organ in just a few months.
Jo Brand's Musical Journey
Stand-up comedian and broadcaster Jo Brand last played a musical instrument about 30 years ago, when she took piano lessons at school, and had a bad experience with the violin.
Her challenge now is to learn to play the organ. In just a few months she needs to master more than the basics - she has been booked to play Bach's complex D minor Toccata in front of 8 000 people at the Royal Albert Hall.
Jo faces many hurdles along the way, and to practise performing to an audience she plays for a church service, a wedding, and even accompanies dancers at Blackpool Tower!
This programme follows her frustrations and triumphs, and charts the impact of her musical journey on those closest to her.
