GoGoBot describe themselves as a synth disco trio with a joyous blast of uplifting rock magic. And with a name like that, how could we possibly disagree? After bursting onto the Scottish music scene with a strident mix of synth anthems and infectious pop melodies, GoGoBot are a difficult band to pigeon hole. But that doesn't bother them! With a vast array of influences from Scissor Sisters to Muse, from Bjork to Queen, they're not afraid to try new things and push the boundaries with their music. Lyrics told with feeling and thought, where dark humour and intimacy are cleverly disguised within quirky pop hooks.
