By The Rivers are an Original Reggae band formed by Leicester friends Nile Barrow and Jordan Birtles. After the demise of their highly successful Indie Pop band M48, the two got together to write songs in the style of music they had been listening to all their lives – Reggae. It was with a passion for the sound, culture and style of the music that they began to write songs with social comment, with positive messages as well as love songs and all things that affect the youth of today.
Live they are a 6 piece using guitars, drums, bass, keyboard's, melodica's, lots of vocal plus two brass players! So if you fancy a slice of Reggae in Kinross, get yourself down to our stage on Sunday.
