Named after a chapter from Philip Roth’s The Plot Against America and singing songs based around ocean explorers and space travel, Oxford’s The Winchell Riots don't appear to write songs about your average rock n roll subjects!
2010 saw The Winchell Riots crash round the UK on a headline tour culminating in a sold out hometown show and a gig at Oxford’s biggest all-day festival, OX4. 2011 is no different, with UK shows booked, a new EP and of course, a slot at Reading & Leeds 2011.

We support unsigned, undiscovered and under the radar bands and musicians.
