Don’t call My Chemical Romance emo, because they don’t like it! Their new album, Danger Days: The True Lifes of the Fabulous Killjoys, sees the band in a much more quirky and eccentric mode than during The Black Parade days. It’s the first time they’ve headlined Reading and Leeds and will be their only English festival appearances this year.

It's the first time I've seen them live and I was bowled over by it, totally awesome. We were near the front from 3pm and intended to stay there till 9.30pm, but during 30 seconds to Mars, we got crushed and could hardly breathe so had to crowd surf to get out the front and so we lost our place. Then we were much further back, but actually really enjoyed it there because we got to move and jumped and danced like crazy. It was worth all the mud, rain and damp bedding...excellent! Want to see them again.
