Wot Gorilla? are a math rock band from Halifax, West Yorkshire featuring ex-members of The Lucida Console. Formed in late 2008, they've been playing as many shows as possible, including this year’s Live at Leeds with the likes of Wild Beasts, Lightspeed Champion and 65 Days of Static. Their self-released, self-titled five track EP was recorded in late and is available via MySpace. After a summer spent writing, they will be recording some new material in August 2010 with James Kenosha (Grammatics, Pulled Apart By Horses, Lone Wolf and Dinosaur Pile-up). In a nut shell, they write songs you cannot dance to, and like it that way.
