The Walkmen
The Walkmen promotional image

Indie with intelligence

Rock of the American indie variety, The Walkmen are originally from Washington DC, and formed at the turn of the century, out of the ashes of Jonathan Fire Eater and the Recoys. They then moved to New York to establish a recording studio. They like their instruments vintage, and have a particular love of the piano. The Walkmen have also featured in an episode of The OC and have also tried to write a novel together.
