With their all killer, no filler approach as seen at Glastonbury and Field Day in the UK already this year, french foursome Phoenix are riding high on the success of their live shows. Hits from their Grammy Award winning fourth studio album Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix feature heavily in their current set including the infectious album opener Lisztomania.
Originally from Versailles, the band's intelligent indie pop charmed film maker Sofia Coppola when she included their early track Too Young on the soundtrack to Lost In Translation. The band went on to score a cameo in Coppola's follow up film Marie Antoinette earning them an even larger profile.
Pulling large scale audiences with their danceable indie aesthetic, expect to hear their most recent single Lasso as well as old favourites If I Ever Feel Better and Long Distance Call when they take to the NME/Radio 1 Stage.
