Love Ends Disaster! formed whilst at University in Loughborough and feature singer Matthew Oakes, twin brothers Matt and Jon Dix (bass/guitar) and Mark (drummer). After recording their first demo with two microphones and a tape deck in an old meat warehouse in Nottingham, they were picked up by Denial Records, the label behind the first studio recordings of Bloc Party. Two critically acclaimed and successful EPs followed, drawing comparisons with Talking Heads, British Sea Power and Sonic Youth, and they quickly found themselves sharing stages with the likes of These New Puritans, Youthmovies, Scouting For Girls and Babyshambles. City Of Glass is Love Ends Disaster!'s debut album, and is released on 26th July 2010.
