Syrian musician Omar Souleyman brought his unique live show to Glastonbury for the first time this summer.
The singer has been releasing music since 1994, but his dabke style has only come to the attention to many in the western world since he was picked up by Seattle label Sublime Frequencies in 2006. Three albums later and a host of joyous appearances have won the arabic popstar an almost cult following.
