Indie rockers Glasvegas launched themselves into public consciousness in 2008 when Geraldine and Daddy's Gone captured the admiration of music press and public alike. The Scots were proclaimed the band to define the end of the decade and beyond by NME and picked up a series of awards, including a Mercury Prize nomination, for their self-titled debut.
They returned earlier this year with a new drummer and refined sound on EUPHORIC /// HEARTBREAK \\\, but no less of the swagger that attracted so many on their last trip to Pilton in 2009.

I would have loved to see this band at Glasto and missed their tour as well but at least got to see three of the tracks from their set on the Beeb. Their performance was raw and very powerful, a pity the fans didn't get the chance to see the whole set though.
