Eels, led by Mark Oliver Everett (or E), are prone to exploring the darker side of life. Formed in 1995 the band initially found fame with the track Novocaine For The Soul.
A series of family tragedies inspired the second album Electro Shock Blues, and the most recent work has been a trilogy of albums on the themes of desire, loss, and redemption. Serious stuff…

No live coverage of the Ells on this site because your not allowed to show it . This doesn't make sense because it was broadcast on the BBC tonight.
Nevermind cant wait to see them on the 7th in Brighton.

Did you know that in early editions of 'The Cloud Connection' each chapter was named from an Eels track or line from one of their songs?

Brilliant performance from Eels.
E had the crowd going throughout the set.
Looking forward to seeing them in Leeds next month.
