BBC - Big Boi - BBC Glastonbury Festival - 2011
16:00 – 19:00 // In the studio next is Marc Riley
Wed 22nd June – Sun 26th June 2011
Worthy Farm, Pilton
Best known as one half of hip hop duo OutKast, Savannah, Georgia's Big Boi made his first trip to Pilton with a solo reputation on the rise. 2010 album Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty saw the rapper emerge from the shadow of his collaboration with Andre 3000 to garner widespread acclaim as one of the most inventive hip hop releases of recent times.
He hasn't forgotten how to put on a show however, and with a list of accomplices, which included Janelle Monae, his show was one of the highlights of Saturday night.
