Biography

Kirsty has lived all of her life on the Isle of Lewis. Traditional music has always been part of her life and her closest and main influence for Gaelic singing is her beloved grandmother. Kirsty loves nothing more than sitting with a cup of tea and listening to her sing. She has taught Kirsty some of the most beautiful and lyrical songs that she now so loves singing. In 2010 Kirsty was Young Musician of the Year in Stornoway.
