La guerra civil en Siria mató a más de 11.000 niños
Una nueva investigación estimó que más de 11.000 niños murieron durante los tres años de guerra civil en Siria.
El documento, elaborado or un grupo de investigación en Oxford, en Reino Unido, resalta que la mayoría de las víctimas murieron durante bombardeos en sus vecindarios.
El estudio también dice que más de 1.000 niños fueron muertos deliberadamente en ejecuciones masivas, y que al menos 100 niños, algunos de incluso un año, fueron torturados hasta la muerte
El reporte urge a ambos bandos a proteger a los niños y perseguir a aquellos que cometen semejantes atrocidades.
Los autores subrayaron que sus cifras están incompletas y que la verdadera extensión de la violencia todavía podría ser peor.
