The 19 year old blew the crowd away with her original and quirky style. Her voice carried though the venue with amazing power as she alternated between acoustic and bass guitars, explaining that "next time I’ll be with a band and I’ll play on the piano, but I just want to show you how I play for my mum." Her cheeky personality shone through as the whole room fell in love with her music and bubbly nature. Her irresistible and untamed vocals left the very supportive crowd in awe; not only does this singer/songwriter actually feel her lyrics, unlike some of her peers, but her voice is so unique that it completely changes this little bit of the dark and rainy Northwest into a little piece of traditional New Orleans. Her uncompromising rhythm and soulful interpretation of old blues is both charming and relevant in the search for some truly captivating entertainment. See her while you can in these intimate, candle lit venues – she’s got all the talent necessary to be filling arenas worldwide. last updated: 30/10/07 You are in: Manchester > Entertainment > Music > Reviews > Adele at Matt and Phreds [an error occurred while processing this directive] |
