Lord Don’t Slow Me Download

Oasis are about to take a step into the online world by releasing their first ever digital only single, Lord Don’t Slow Me Down.

The track, taken from their documentary tour DVD of the same name, will be available for download from Sunday 21 October, though you can hear it before then as it gets its first play on Radio 1 on Monday 1 October.

The accompanying video will follow the digital trend, getting its debut on video-streaming site YouTube on the same day as the radio premiere.

The track is a forerunner to the release of the DVD, Lord Don’t Slow Me Down, which will be released as a two DVD set on Monday 29 October.

The first disc features the acclaimed feature length documentary, which saw director Baillie Walsh follow the band around on their last world tour. The film culminates at the massive homecoming at the City of Manchester Stadium back on Saturday 2 July 2005.

Disc two has 16 tracks from that concert shot in glorious HD and captured in surround sound so you can relive the day whether you were there or not!

Oasis are currently preparing to make a start on their seventh studio album, the follow-up to 2005’s Don’t Believe The Truth, which should see the light of day at some point next year.
