Broke'N'English fear for their trainers

Muddy marvellous

Glastonbury may have been a bit of a wash-out, but for two Manchester bands, it was a chance to shine through the rain on the new BBC Introducing… Stage, a place dedicated to the best new music.

The Ting Tings and Broke’n’English were both asked to perform on the stage across the weekend. Here’s how it went and what the crowd thought of them:

The trio arrived without wellies but didn’t let the slippery mud get amongst their smooth rhymes and, with the help of a couple of beers, offered up a set of afternoon delights on Friday.

Never ones to keep quiet, The Ting Tings not only gave their all to a great set on Saturday evening but also had a quick chat about the honour of being at Glastonbury after only four months together and how the festival smells!
