Not content with supporting the likes of Razorlight at the Arena or being on one of new music’s coolest tours in the UK, the boys are back with their very first headline slot since they were shot into indie stardom a few short months back. An over 18’s show is no obstruction for PTT. The heaving Night and Day does resemble the hottest room on the planet with sweaty bodies brushing past in every direction, showing the hype is still there. | | Pull Tiger Tail (pic: Tash Willcocks) |
They prove to be worth the wait. While bands get so engrossed in fashion and merge into one big melting pot of average, PTT deliver a fresh sound. With songs like the convulsing dance floor mayhem of Mr 100% and the ever-enchanting mellow cries of Let’s Lightening, they’ve got a formula for an addictive fistfight of punk vs. posh disco. Fast becoming one of my favourite live bands of the year, if you haven’t seen these Stratford kitties live yet, go now or risk losing out on the intimate and cheeky stage antics before they’re just a dot in the distance of a festival stage. Grab a tiger mask and join the party, Pull Tiger Tail are well on the way to being huge. |
