The Dale Street benefit

In typical Mancunian fashion, the creative communities affected by the Dale Street fire are getting a benefit show at the Roadhouse on Wednesday 16 May.

The venue is throwing a benefit gig for all those artists, promoters, photographers, festivals and other businesses affected by the fire, which raged through a five storey building in the Northern Quarter on Monday 30 April.

All bands are performing for free and the organisers say they’ll be donating the box office income to neighbouring small, independent, creative businesses.

Performing on the night will be Bone Box, Red Vinyl Fur, Grand Volume and Liam Frost. All the bands contain Roadhouse staff members, except Liam, who is described as "an old Roadhouse friend".

The Dale Street Benefit is at the Roadhouse on Wednesday 16 May. Tickets are £5
