Exclusive Alps

In case you were wondering where they’d got to, Nine Black Alps have posted an exclusive video of themselves recording their new album on the Internet, complete with a soundtrack of the home demos for it!

The short film was taken during the recent recording sessions in Los Angeles. The band have described the new record on their website as "moments of truth and expectation… suspended in the air like tiny gossamer-winged angels or bulbous stink bombs of doom, depending on your viewpoint/taste/blood type."

It features the demos of several new tracks, showcasing a direction for the album that builds on the fuzzed-out guitar splendours of their 2005 debut, Everything Is, with the addition of a stronger thread of melody.
