Muzzle's off for The Whip

Having slapped out two cracking singles last year, indie-dance party rockers The Whip are continuing their rise to the top with the release of another slab of riot-disco, the storming Muzzle #1.

The single, released on Fatboy Slim’s Southern Fried Records, is out on February 26, and features remixes from Black Ghosts and Shadow Dancer.

Production duties were taken by Liam Howe, who was responsible for their last outing, Trash, a track that stormed The Whip onto Kitsune’s Maison 3 compilation, alongside the likes of Klaxons, Simian Mobile Disco and The Gossip.

The video for Muzzle #1 was filmed at last year’s riotous performance at the Roadhouse, so if you were there, have a look at it and see if you can spot yourself.

The band are currently on an extensive UK tour, having popped into Manchester already for a thrilling show at The Zoo.

They’ll be back in the city on Thursday 1 March for a show at the Roadhouse and again on Tuesday 20 March as part of the High Voltage fourth birthday shenanigans at the Ritz, which also features The Longcut and The KBC, amongst others.
