Keith take the road to V

The part indie, part folky, part electronia four-piece Keith are celebrating a major triumph after winning a competition to open the main stage at both sites of the V Festival on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 August!

Virgin Mobile called for the best new bands to step up to open this year's V festival. Over 4,000 bands and artists submitted their tracks. After long nights of listening to them all, 14 finalists were selected, and they went on to perform at the Islington Academy and Liverpool Academy.

The shows were filmed and shown over an eight week period on Channel 4. A panel of judges chose four of those bands to go through to the final round and then viewers were encouraged to review and vote for their favourite band.

And the winner is Keith, who’ll now be playing both Weston Park and Hylands Park in the space of a weekend!

The band release their new single, Mona Lisa’s Child, on Monday 4 September, and will be back in Manchester the week before to play the Roadhouse on Tuesday 29 August. Tickets for the show are £5.
