Manchester's finest new talent assembles in Albert Square for BBC Blast's mini-festival. A seven act line-up takes to the stage on Friday 30th June for the perfect pre- and post-match diversion. Find out more about Blast's big gig:

Cunningly nestled between the two World Cup quarter finals, BBC Blast's gig in the square brings together a top-class team of musicians.

Kicking off at 5.45pm on Friday 30th June, the confirmed line-up so far reads:

It's a completely free, un-ticketed event. Event Producer Hannah Wysome says:
