Blogging Norfolk

It's never been easier to share the stories of our lives with each other - this interactive project asked people to send in the story of their day to a huge map of the region.

From accountants in King's Lynn to teachers in Thetford, from Lollipop Ladies in Cromer to nurses in Norwich, in fact anyone who calls Norfolk home knows that the county's landscape has moulded the people here as much as the people have moulded the landscape.

On April 23rd 2009 - St George's Day - BBC Norfolk and the New Writing Partnership askied the people of Norfolk to send in stories of their day in Norfolk to add to a unique interactive map. A modern celebration of the diverse lives and experiences of all Norfolk's residents, the finished map will offer a snapshot of how we live our lives today.

We want you to post the stories of your day onto your blog, send photos to our Flickr page, join our Facebook site, Twitter with us and link to us or even email the stories to us. Alternatively, you could come in to the Forum on April the 23rd itself and learn how to blog them live. All of the stories, photos and recordings will be added to our magnificent digital map - displayed on the new Fusion screen and will be available for the world to see on the BBC's website.
