MY ACCENT
When Gabriel visits his local Jewish grocery store he finds himself chatting to staff and other customers in three separate languages. The Jewish community in his part of London has been brought up speaking several different languages.

It means that someone like Gabriel has quite a strong Yiddish accent despite being a born and bred Londoner. Gabriel is also aware that he speaks quite fast but he expects people to be able to keep up.
