ROADS
CarsThe following road closures will be implemented at approximately 2045:
Park Lane, north and south bound; Bayswater Road; Hyde Park Corner; Knightsbridge;
Grosvenor Place; Grosvenor Gardens will be closed. Depending on traffic conditions Grosvenor Place may also be closed. There will be no additional parking.

Transport for London and the Police are urging drivers and anyone without a ticket to Live 8 to avoid the Hyde Park area on Saturday July 2.

If you are lucky enough to be going to the event use public transport if you want to get anywhere near the park in time for the concert. You are urged NOT to drive into central London.

TUBES

Tube Train There will be no Central Line service between Loughton and Epping. A replacement bus service will run throughout the day.

Normal services will run on all lines. However, to avoid overcrowding, it may be necessary to temporarily close some stations.

Hyde Park Corner station - this station will close 15 minutes before the end of the concert.

There will be no access to Lancaster Gate station once Live 8 has finished.

There will also be no access to Marble Arch station at the end of the concert.

Queensway station is closed.

TRAINS
TrainTrain companies are planning special travel arrangements into and out of London on the day of the concert. There should be longer trains and additional services on some routes.

Transport for London is advising passengers to try to book tickets in advance, allow extra time for journeys and avoid travelling at peak times, such as immediately before and after the concert.

BUSES

Bus The following bus routes will be diverted or curtailed on July 2: 2, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 13, 14, 15, 16, 19, 22, 23, 30, 36, 38, 52, 70, 73, 74, 82, 94, 98, 113, 137, 139, 148, 159, 189, 274, 390, 414, 436 and C1.

CYCLING
TrainIf you fancy getting on your bike Transport for London has details of all the cycle routes to and from Hyde Park on its website - Journey Planner

Hyde Park has a number of designated cycle routes and there are parking stands in a number of streets surrounding the park.
