Here is advice on alternative travel methods plus access live travel feeds from Transport for London. Tube Strike updates on TwitterHere are a few alternatives you might consider.RailOyster Pay As You Go will be accepted on all National Rail journeys within Greater London on Wednesday and Thursday, just show your Oyster card at station gate lines. Mainline train services across London will be running a normal service. Check the journey planner on the National Rail Enquiries website for another way to work. BusTfL will be boost its normal bus service with around 100 extra buses during the strike. RiverA pleasant alternative to the tube, and ticket prices are reduced if you have an oyster card. The existing service will be boosted from a capacity of 1,500 to 8,000 an hour and including an additional free shuttle service from London Bridge to Tower Bridge. TfL says that where possible major road works will be suspended. TaxisDuring the morning rush hour between 0800-1030, taxi drivers will be operating a marshalled, fixed-fare shared taxi service for central London destinations at six major London rail stations - Waterloo, Liverpool St, London Bridge, Marylebone, Paddington and Euston.
