Video NationYou are in: London > Video Nation > Watch this space...  Watch this space...There weren't many Chinese role models on the television screen when Jimmy Tam was growing up. He feels that the time may have come for British Chinese to make their mark within society.
As a young boy Jimmy Tam used to watch TV and wonder why there wasn't anybody that resembled him. He hopes that China's elevation on the international scene will have a positive impact on young British Chinese in how they view themselves and their role in society. Having just finished a broadcast journalism course he has entered an industry that doesn't have a large representation from the Chinese community.
