Vibrant Green Street

Green Street in all it's glory.

Green Street shouts out

Residents and workers around Green Street, Newham, consider how the Olympics will impact their local area.

Green Street in Newham is located just 4 miles from the new Olympic site and it is likely to be one of the areas used extensively by athletes and spectators.

It boasts people from all walks of life and has proven itself diverse, not only culturally but in the local's opinions on everything from the Games, the logo, apparent job opportunities or in contrast the worries about systematic gentrification that may go ahead.

Here is just some of what the locals had to say.
