Sian's death is difficult to comprehend says her aunt Cheryl Simpson. “We’re devastated, shattered, our world has been destroyed [the family]”, says Cheryl. She went on to express her dismay over the killing. Sian’s uncle Leroy describes her as a “nice kid” who's never been in any trouble. The 18 year old student had just completed her A' Levels and was hoping to go on to becoming an accountant. Eighteen year old Chelsea Bennett, of London Road, Croydon, has been charged with Sian's murder. A woman who was questioned in connection with the killing, has been released on police bail.
