A few things about David Croft:
Drug of choice? Diet Dr Pepper. There was a real Dr Pepper. The guy who owned the drug store in Waco where the drink was first made, Wade Morrison, named it after Dr Charles Pepper who’d given him his first job
Worst job? Butcher’s boy. I used to have to clean out the fridge and make pet food (believe me you don’t want to know the details). All for 70p an hour.
Best piece of advice you’ve been given? "s**t happens"
Favourite track? Thunder Road by Bruce Springsteen - the acoustic version
How would you change the world? Why would I want to change the world?
Your favourite piece of clothing? My West Ham top – big, baggy and claret and blue
If your house was on fire, what 3 things would you save? My West Ham top My Springsteen albums Freddy - a teddy bear I’ve had since I was 2 years old
