Frank Godley Court in Sidcup
The campaign to save the schemes is on.

Silver surfers fight to save homes

By Ayshea Buksh
Pensioners in Sidcup have created a website as part of a campaign to save their sheltered housing.

Frank Godley Court is one of six Sheltered Housing Schemes in the borough of Bexley which have been threatened with closure.

L&Q Housing Association says the schemes are no longer financially viable and have been offered alternative accommodation for all the residents.

Bexley Council and the housing association are currently discussing the future for the residents but the council says so far it remains to be convinced.
