RaWYou are in: London > RaW > Life-long Liverpool ![]() Life-long Liverpoolby Gerald Onyango All my life I’ve been a Liverpool supporter it was grown into me, my whole family supports the great team, I grew up remembering such legendary players e.g. Robbie Fowler, Steve Mcmanaman, Michael Owen and the great John Barnes. Write your own storyWin match tickets, a day with your London football team, stadium tours and season tickets by writing your own football story.Being a Liverpool fan is very special, everyone is together and as if one big family as you can see in our slogan “You’ll never walk alone”. The great thing about supporting Liverpool is that the club is the most successful in England and has won five European cups which most clubs in Europe haven’t done and plus what I personally think that we have the best supporters in England.
There’s always lows in supporting a club especially when one of your great players leave the club. I can still remember the day when Michael Owen left in the summer of 2004 to big Spanish giant’s Real Madrid for fee around £8 million and Antonio Nunez to. That day was absolutely devastating I remember seeing on TV Michael Owen has left Liverpool - it’s just not right. The atmospheres in Liverpool’s matches are ecstatic, singing the great song such as “you’ll never walk alone”, “Steven Gerrard, Gerrard” and so on. The best ever match I’ve watched while being a Liverpool supporter was the great Champions league final against AC Milan, we were losing 3-0 in the first half and come back 3-3 and win on penalties. So there’s always going to be highs and lows in football but you get used to them. last updated: 21/01/2008 at 12:29 |
