During bad weather, you can get the latest information about school closures and interruptions to essential services from BBC Radio Derby.

BBC Radio Derby can be found on 104.5 & 95.3 MHz (mid & North Derbyshire), 96 MHz (in Buxton) and on AM 1116 kHz.

The Breakfast Show will have regular updates (07.00 - 10.00) and will update information throughout the day.

For those in the Chesterfield area, the latest updates can be heard on BBC Radio Sheffield's Breakfast Show.

You can find BBC Radio Sheffield on 104.1, 94.7 and 88.6 FM and latest information will be given out between 07.00 and 09.00 and at other times during the day.

Please DO NOT contact us or the radio stations requesting information. Any news we have will be given out on air and a flood of enquiries could seriously slow down the flow of information.

If you need to TELL US about a cancelled event during the bad weather, you should call 01332 616161. This number is open between 06.00 and 18.00.
