Is it a plane? Is it a train? No, it's a Superlambanana!

The race is now on to spot all of the 120 statues across Liverpool that have become icons of the city's tenure as European Capital of Culture.

Dedicated followers of the uniquely decorated public pieces of art are feverishly on the trail to photograph them before they vanish from the streets on 25 August.

BBC North West Tonight's 08 correspondent Jayne Barrett went to meet the most fanatical Superlambananaholics. Some of them have joined our Flickr group and sent in their photographs.
