The Generation Gap

The Generation Gap project has produced a series of short dramas for radio that examine the generation gap from the perspective of the older generation. Listen to them here.

From 31st October to the 2nd November 2008 the BBC Radio 3 Free Thinking Festival examined the Generation Gap in Liverpool in the words of Liverpool’s over 60s.

Out of this came a series of workshops run by Angela Clarke, who was the BBC Writersroom's Writer in Residence for the Free Thinking Festival.

Now, the resulting dramas are being broadcast and have been made available here for you to listen to. They are:

Last One Standing by Ros Moruzzi, read by Sue Jenkins.

Never Been Kissed by Georgia O'Brien, read by Dominque Durant.

Expectations by Sarah Cowell, read by Denver Drury.

Ticking All The Boxes by Jaya Bhavnani, read by Jaya Bhavnani.

Trevor by Sean Owens, read by Denver Drury.

These short dramas were also recently broadcast on Claire Hamilton's Drivetime Show on BBC Radio Merseyside.
