He's been described as 'a quite brilliant singer-songwriter' and has appeared on BBC Radio Merseyside's Folkscene among others. He has drawn comparisons with the likes of Leonard Cohen, Nick Drake and Damien Rice and has garnered favourable reviews from performances as far afield as Japan.

In addition to the lovely 'El Suspiro del Moro,' have a listen to the fantastic down-home acoustic slide guitar and witty lyrics of 'Sendai City Blues' - it's available on Dan's MySpace page, and is one of our favourites.

King of Acoustic Music

At the tender age of 21, Daniel was coronated the City of York's 'King of Acoustic Music' when he won 1st prize in a major songwriting competition. A multi-instrumentalist, Daniel supplements his passionate vocals and guitar picking with piano, banjo, dobro, mandolin and ukulele. He has now returned to his native Liverpool in order to concentrate on furthering his musical career.

Daniel has recorded a demo entitled 'Forgiveness' available from More Weight Records, and released the 'Caesar's Things' E.P. in the spring of 2007, available on Liverpool-based independent label Walk Fast Die Young.
