Lizzie NunneryLizzie Nunnery is a 24 year old singer/songwriter, guitarist and writer from Maghull. She produces delicate acoustic music, using beautiful guitar lines to accompany her emotive vocals. Lizzie started out at 17, when she began to perform at the (now legendary) Acoustic Engine songwriter nights which saw talents like Peter Coyle, Dave McCabe, Howie Payne, Tom Hingley, Nick Saunders and Damien Rice grace its stage. Help playing audio/video From there she went on to play solo gigs in Oxford, Leicester, Manchester, Liverpool and London. Her favourite home venues include: the Zanzibar, Barfly, the Everyman bistro, and Lago. ![]() Lizzie has played all over the country. Lizzie has performed support slots at the Liverpool Royal Court and Liverpool Philharmonic Hall and she contributed backing vocals to Mercury Music Prize-nominated album It Just Is by Steve Roberts. You can also hear her on The Great Liverpool Acoustic Experiment which was released by Viper Records in 2002. In recent months, Lizzie has appeared on Roger Lyon's Radio Merseyside show and has released her debut EP, Monkeys & Devils. As if all this wasn't enough, Lizzie is also a talented writer who is currently participating in the Liverpool Everyman's attachment scheme. She was recently selected for 'The 50', a scheme being run by the Royal Court and BBC as part of the Court's 50th birthday celebrations to nurture the next generation of writing talent.
